They can set new paths, travel to new places, and create things that were not known for the rest of us. ⠀ ⠀ In a poem, I wrote I dove a little bit into this, with an orphanage. A place that didn't have good leadership behind the scenes, that unfortunately hurt the children even more than they already were. The clear thoughts, the freedom to do anything, it is amazing.⠀ Though it is occasionally necessary to throw caution into the wind and let the night take you where it must. To climb the mountain of drinks that have been placed in front of you. ⠀ ⠀ In this poem, I explored what it would be like to be around a group of men who had not seen each other in some time. Perhaps they are old war buddies, perhaps old roommates, perhaps, perhaps, perhaps. I do not intend to tell you too much about these people in hopes that you will fill in the gaps yourself. ⠀ What I can tell you is that the couple not enjoying their reunion will have a bad time wherever they go. The waitress who brings them drinks is kind and pleasant, and the guests will tip heavy at the end of the night. ⠀ They have all gathered together once more, perhaps for the last time, to share stories, and experiences.

Coming to the end of the week, and I feel everyone is getting tired, whether it's from their work, their spouses, whatever, everyone is having a hard time today. ⠀ ⠀ So what I ask is not to be so quick to judge, or quick to make decisions, love one another, and understand the pain, that everyone is going through.
